Willowbrook Women is excited to announce that during the month of April, we will be dedicating our hearts and minds to the powerful practice of intercessory prayer. Our focus will be on uplifting and supporting women within our church and community. It is a time for us to connect, not just in friendship but in spiritual solidarity as we bring each other's needs before the throne of grace.

  • "She’s Praying for You" is not just a theme; it's a call for compassion and action. It's an opportunity for each of us to stand in the gap for our sisters, holding their hands in the unseen realm through our prayers.

  • Throughout this month, we encourage you to stop by the women's desk at either of our Willowbrook campuses.

Here's how you can join this movement:

-Visit the women's desk anytime you're on either Willowbrook campuses.

-Using the designated prayer cards (found here to download or at the women’s desk), leave your prayer request and take a request left by another.

-Carry that request with you, bringing it before God and joining with a sister in her time of need.

  • Here are some points to consider as you intercede in prayer:

-Seek His Guidance: Ask God to lead you in praying effectively for the request.

-Listen and Obey: Be attentive to the Spirit’s direction on how to uphold your sister in prayer.

-Desire His Will: Pray earnestly for His will to unfold on earth just as it is in Heaven.

-Feel His Presence: Request an increased sense of God’s comforting presence.

-Pray for Glory: Ask that God's glory be witnessed through the circumstance.

-Pray for Completion: Seek the completion of His work in your sister's life.

-Power in Community: If contact details are provided, share an encouraging word with the one for whom you've prayed.

*Please treat the requests you receive with the respect and privacy you would hope to receive in return.

  • Your involvement in this month of prayer is crucial not just for others but for you! By participating, you are affirming the essence of Philippians 4:6, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God."

  • In keeping with our commitment to inviting the intervening power of God into our lives,o visit the women's desk to participate. Ephesians 3:20 promises that you are urged t your voice in prayer can carry hope and healing far beyond what you might ask or imagine.

Our joy is complete as we partner with you to see God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven.

PLEASE NOTE: cards are only exchanged at the women's desks at Huntsville or Madison campuses You may submit a praise online.

“Jesus prayed that we would be one. We are actively participating to bring it to reality. We are bringing kingdom harmony into the world. Our oneness is bringing heaven to earth.”
