We are closer to the return of Christ than any generation previously. We ought to live as though the return of Christ is imminent. The Seven Letters, found at the beginning of the Book of Revelation, were written to churches that were soon facing persecution. These churches were being prepared for things that were soon coming but also entrusted with Revelation regarding things of the future. A public reading and study of these letters offers Revelation, personal admonishment, and acclamations, as well as great encouragement and promises. These Letters are for the Church now as much as they were for the church then. The Word of God is Living and Active. May we find sobering conviction and great comfort as we read these letters together in preparation for the return of Christ. May these letters prepare us to read and study further the Book of Revelation in its entirety. Come, Lord Jesus!

In the Luke Study, Bible teacher Lisa Harper exposes the utter humanity and compassion of Jesus shared by Luke. The great news woven throughout the Gospel according to Luke is that perfection is not a prerequisite for a deep and personal relationship with Jesus. In fact, this riveting account reveals that Jesus is especially fond of ragamuffins in need of a safe place to lean in and linger! Join Lisa Harper in this Bible study of a literary masterpiece that doesn't celebrate the elite, but embraces the outliers, outcasts, and overlooked!
